10 Months… 50,000km..

Welp.. I’ve owned my EN for just over 10 months, in that time I’ve accumulated over 53,000km’s. Bought the car with 28km and it’s been a journey.

Overall, this has been one of, if not the most fun cars I’ve ever owned. I’m always finding excuses to simply just go for a drive. If you’re wondering how on earth I’ve driven so much in such little time, I commute pretty much 99% highway 128km each way, thankfully I work an on-call job so I’m only doing that commute maybe 3 times a week. But I’m always somehow finding myself on countless cross country/out of country road trips, or just aiming straight for the backroads on a day off.

As for reliability, the car has been pretty much rock solid (knock on wood). My biggest enemy has been the engine knock sensors, currently on my 4th sensor. I’ve had 3 separate incidents where they failed and essentially left me stranded (limp mode but still drivable) 3200km, 19,000km, 33,000km. Since then it’s been solid. I can safely say I don’t go easy on it either, countless backroad beatings call for even bigger smiles.

As for customizations/modifications, I had the whole front end of the car (bumper, hood, fenders, etc) PPF’d just after I bought it, but less than 5 months and one god-awful winter later, I remembered why i hate black cars and the pain to keep them clean, so I decided to wrap the car in full High-Gloss “Meta Green” and it’s been game changing. Having a colour I like to consider “OEM+” is so lovely, and the constant comments/compliments from others are also extremely nice. I also lowered the car on NEOTECH springs, I’m planning on adding 20mm spacers in the spring, as well as possibly other engine mods (HPFP, downpipe, intake, tune, etc)

Here’s to the next 50,000km… Never stop driving.

6 Months of EN Ownership

It’s officially been just over 6 months with my EN!

With just under 34,000km on the clock already, it’s safe to say I thoroughly love this car. I’m always trying to find an excuse just to go for a drive.

Only issues the car has suffered is 2 faulty engine knock sensors, both replaced fully under warranty, it is a bit annoying simply due to the car throwing itself into limp mode, basically leaving me stranded on 2 occasions (2,200km / 31,000km) but at the end of the day, it’s a car, and warranty exists for a reason.

As for future plans, I have a set of Neotech Springs on route and I’m super excited to throw those on! Might lean towards an intake in the future, if you have any recommendations let me know!

Decided to wrap my 25’ EN into something different, was not a fan of the black paint, horrible quality and absolutely painful to maintain, could not be any happier with the results. Pictures don’t do the colour any justice!
