Brand new n

Just picked up my brand new 26 cyber grey dct a few days ago and couldn't be happier. Drove trucks my whole life up until my last vehicle a 2010 mazda 6 that had 200k on it when I traded it in. Spent alot of time researching different cars in general and then specifically this segment and finally pulled the trigger after my buddy took me for a ride in his 25 dct and thrashed on it in n mode. All the videos online dont do it justice I was in shock of what the car is capable of and also the fact the he still has a license 🤣. Still in the break in period but looking forward to many miles of smiles.

3D printed BOV adapter sound sample.

Sorry for the mediocre video. Enough people asked, I did my best. Cropped into a sliver to respect my neighbors privacy. It was a bit windy, but it's pretty much always windy here.

Small horn, I didn't want to drive crazy, so I'm not hitting full boost. Normal mode, no octane learning.

The small horn is my favorite. It sounds pretty unique, and seems louder under higher boost than the others.

Debating getting an Elantra N

Hello all, this is my first time posting in this group. A situation has presented itself and i am in the market to buy a brand new car. At the current moment, the Elantra N is my first pick, followed very closely by the Toyota Tacoma (completely different target audiences i know).

I was hoping to get some community insight on ownership of the 2026 Elantra N. I test drove one the other day and im impressed, but i want to know everything. The biggest reasons i keep considering the Tacoma are 4WD, better audio, and heated steering wheel. I live in Nebraska and we can get some pretty awful winters so that concerns me a bit.

How has your experience been? How expensive is insurance? (I know it varies). How is driving in snow? How is the modifiability? How is DCT vs Manual? My drawback with Manual is that i had a WRX about 7 years ago and i loved it but after a few years i was sick of Manual all the time. Anyone have experience with both transmissions? How is the warranty?

Thanks in advance!

3rd light brake light.

I’m just curious if anyone has tried to get the LED oem assembly from the veloster N, and splice the wiring and hard wire it into the tail lights for the Elantra N?

I will be picking up my TCR next weekend and this is one of the first mods I wanna do as that reflector it’s so stupid.

The OEM number is 92700K9000

Thanks guys 😊

Beware Of CardinalWay Hyundai of El Monte

Called in friday asking if they could match my offer from another dealership + their dealer discount online. The salesperson said yes come in we can do it, I asked 2-3 more times to really make sure and she said yes she will have her manager call me as well. I was all excited, got ready for the manager to call me, his first words were “why did she have me call you again” ??? He continued to tell me that theres a mandatory $1000 dealer add on for nitrogen fill tires/ edge guards lol, and that theres no way they can honor the deal I had spoken with the salesperson about. I called them back today and told them Im willing to check out their dealer discount + no ads and was now told I need to finance with them to get the dealer discount lol, and they will not send me a price breakdown via text, I need to trust his word.

Terrible leadership this gm is a joke

New N

Hi everyone! I just got a 26 Atlas white N DCT with 17 miles and I’ll be able to pick it up tomorrow afternoon after their pre delivery inspection. I have a few questions maybe you guys could answer/ help me out with.

  1. How many miles should I wait before giving it full throttle?

  2. How often do you guys get oil changes?

  3. This one is for the white paint owners. How does the paint hold up?

  4. Any other tips would be appreciated! Thank you!

Intake CEL investigating

So I’ve been doing some of my own testing before actually installing the CEL fix for the FL EN’s. It seems at least for my setup I only get the check engine light to pop up when my car try’s to octane learn. In the time period before it OL’s I can go WOT and push the car and I get nothing. But if I am just leisurely driving on the highway for 10-15 miles I get the CEL. I’ve also figured out the car will never Octane learn if it throws the CEL. So if you guys still have not gotten a fix whether through a tune or the actual fix kits I’d recommend getting something done.

Going on a test drive - canyons driving. What settings should I use?

Hi guys. Former second gen BRZ owner here, going to test drive this car in two days, the local Hyundai dealership were kind enough to organize a test drive in the canyons (alongside a dealership representative obviously)

As someone who is about to experience such car and a sporty FWD car in general for the first time, what are your tips, what should I expect from this platform after driving RWD cars for 6 years, settings - put it in N mode and that’s it or should I adjust steering or the individual settings?

Whatever on your mind guys. Thanks

Looking/saving for Elantra N’s

Been saving up for this car slowly since last year, and I’ve been constantly looking at deals from used 24’s to brand new 26’s. What annoys me a lot is seeing how there have been brand new 25’s being offered for as low as 30k but some used 24’s and 25’s are being sold at 34-35k and also seeing how the 26’s are just automatically 36-38k. Ideally I want to try and get new for the 10 yr warranty, but if prices don’t drop is it more worth it to find a used 25/24? Also only really looking for the facelift models. My goal is to find one for around 33-34k Ootd with a 5 year finance with a down payment of around 7-8k. I also live in california so apr and tax rates are high 💔

What’s your dealership experience?

So quick back story.

This car is my daily driver, I **need** the car every single day, I do not have a backup or second car.

Prior to this I owned a Honda and the Honda dealership was fantastic, most if not all parts I ever needed were in stock, I got a loaner car from the dealer literally 100% of the time for any overnight or longer repairs, I really couldn’t ask for more.

I’m seeing a bunch of people talk about Hyundai and effectively saying even if the warranty is good on paper, your actual experience will suck.

For example a lot of parts are back ordered, and even if the warranty work is approved, it will still take 2+ months to get the replacement parts you need?

I’ve also heard that Hyundai almost never gives loaner cars and basically just tells you to F yourself…

So if your car is in the shop waiting on parts for 2 months what are you supposed to do? Pay $50 a day for a rental for months straight? This seems absolutely absurd

What’s the actual experience here?
