Buying Used Pro XG 48 PoE, anything I should look out for?

Someone local to me is selling a Pro XG 48 PoE for around $1500. The seller claims it’s brand new, and shows a single image of the box.

Is there anything I should look out for and/or ask before purchasing? The person has sold other things before, but completely unrelated to networking.

Yealink T48U Downgrade from .87 to .86 for RingCentral

I got T48U refurbished phones, and they came with 108.87.0.20 on them. AT&T Office&Hand Ring Central uses a custom firmware that is 108.86.25.16.

After doing some research you can’t downgrade to .86 firmwares if the phone is already on .87.

Do you know how I can force the phones to go to a .86 firmware so they can properly provision with RingCentral? If you try to provision, the phones go into a firmware update loop where the firmware update fails everytime.

Brakes Upgrade For Spirited Driving

My buddies and I want to drive up to Tail Of The Dragon. My only concern is how the stock brakes will hold up throughout the drive. I only plan to do spirited driving a couple times a year. I daily the car.

I’m running aftermarket wheels with PS4S tires and Eibach lowering springs. I’m at 9000 miles with original and stock pads, rotors, and fluid.

I was thinking to flush the brakes and run a high temp brake fluid. Possibly run higher performance pads. Keep the stock rotors. I’m not set on any specific fluid or pads yet, I have to research.

Any thoughts or recommendations?

Does anyone experience issues with picking up channel 5 on their antennas?

I understand we are in a digital era, but OTR antennas is a practically free way to get local channels.

I have an outdoor antenna mounted on the side of my place. It’s mounted on the south end, and it’s pointed south east. I put it up a couple months ago and it’s worked well for the most part.

I can pickup all of the big local stations no problem besides 5. I had ABC-7 on during the crazy Monday downpour and it didn’t skip a beat.

I have multiple TV’s in my place. Channel 5 distorts at all of the TV’s, regardless of weather and cloud coverage.
