Suspension question

Are the Elantra N lowering springs compatible with the N line? I read somewhere that they share suspension geometry but idk if you can use them on an N line, or if ever you can buy aftermarket shocks for the N and fit them in the N line

Muffler Delete Drone

I’m after some advice from people who have deleted their N Line muffler.
I recently had mine done and it sounds so much nicer with pops and crackles enhanced. Only issue is the drone when car goes over 2000 rpm.
I’ll admit that I’m used to quieter cabins but the drone gets too annoying on longer drives.
Would anyone recommend adding a hot dog resonator? If anyone has done it, how much improvement did you see?

Manual Elantra N-Line Shift Knob

Hey all,

I'm looking for an aftermarket shift knob for my EN-Line. Are there any known conversion kits or press-fit knobs compatible with this shifter? Most options I find are only listed for the regular EN.

Traded in My 22 N-Line Three Weeks Ago. Dealer Now Has It Listed Extremely Overpriced

Not hating on them but I just found it pretty funny. This screenshot is a few days old and I haven’t checked to see if it’s been re-priced yet.

Also note, the mirrors are not black. I had 3M taped mirror covers over the original black mirrors, and instead of peeling the covers off, they replaced the entire module with the incorrect part. The wheels are also extremely scuffed up and the vehicle was keyed by my ex girlfriend 7 months ago. Luckily I only owed $4,000, they gave me $14,500 for my trade, which in all honesty I thought was pretty steep.

Thoughts?

N-Line cosmetic modding guidance

Hello! I’m pretty new to cosmetic car modding. Just picked up this new n line two weeks ago. So far I’ve only done a few interior upgrades like red pedal covers and floor mats, but I’m looking to start doing some exterior work. So far im gonna get tint done, and I’ve ordered an oem matte chrome n line badge for the trunk. I’m considering black Elantra lettering and maybe some logo changes similar to the N models, though I’m not totally sure where to begin when it comes to part numbers and sourcing the right pieces, and sure getting everything straight would be a nightmare.

For those of you who’ve done exterior cosmetic mods, what’s your take on the best way to start? Any recommended approach for badges, Elantra lettering, or trim changes?

Also, for anyone with strong opinions on styling: would you keep the factory chrome accents, or swap them out for black? I’m torn between keeping the oem look and going for a more blacked out aggressive style.

Thanks!

Thinking about buying an Elantra N-Line, advice needed

Hello fellow Hyundai enthusiasts(?)!

I come seeking advice. I am currently (sadly) in the process of getting a new car, as my beloved 2017 Sonata has been burning oil quite rapidly. I am stuck between getting a 2023-2024 Elantra, or a 2023-2024 Elantra N-Line.

I am a bit bummed out by the dip from 185hp in my Sonata to just like 130hp in a new Elantra, and I like to drive pretty quick so I am enticed by the N-Line. An Elantra N is my dream car, but that is currently not an option. I was feeling pretty sold on the N-Line, but then I started having concerns about the dry DCT transmission. Can anyone offer advice on this?

For context, I will be moving out next year to go to grad school. I will be living off of a small stipend, so I've been concerned about if the transmission breaks and I'm stuck with no car. My top 2 locations to go to grad school are in Wisconsin and Michigan, so winters will be colder and snowier. On top of that, I've never driven manual before only the standard automatic, so the dry DCT will be new to me. I've been watching videos about do's and don'ts, and I just feel concerned about using an N-Line as a daily driver. I'm not sure if I can even test drive one, as there don't seem to be any near me where that would be an option.

My question for you is, does it seem ridiculous to spend the extra money on an N-Line in my situation? Can it do well as a daily driver in the cold? For someone adjusting to the dry DCT transmission, is it worth the risk as a newbie if I can't afford to break it and need to replace the transmission? Sorry that this post is a bit unorganized, I'm happy to provide more context if needed. I appreciate any advice or tips you are willing to share! :)

DAP4CS error when trying to do a DCT relearn

So I was planning on doing a DCT relearn to help with the slippage but after installing the program DAP4CS, I get a error saying "DAP4CS will not work in a Microsoft hyper-V environment". Is there something I need to disable or is my laptop the issue? It's a Asus gaming laptop I'm trying to do this on.
