Khadlaj Island Ma*tur*ation

Just wanted to share some experience on ma*tur*ating Khadlaj Island.

Last year I purchased a bottle of this as a gift for a friend. I really enjoyed the profile; even right after the bottle was opened. This year I decided to pick up a bottle for myself. I immediately noticed the juice smelled different. But I purchased direct from Khadlaj, I have no concerns it’s fake. I figured it must just be a batch difference. I figured I’d let it sit for a while. However, I was discussing with an acquaintance who works at a Le Labo boutique, and they mentioned that, unofficially, they recommend customers seal the fragrance in a bag, and leave it in a part of the fridge that doesn’t experience much temperature fluctuation(ie crisper drawer set to low humidity); and then allow the fragrance to slowly come up to temperature before spraying, as to not allow any condensation to accidentally enter the fragrance. So I decided to grab my bottle, a packet of silica beads, and a ziplock bag. Did the aforementioned steps. Kept the bottle in the fridge for 3 days. Removed it that night, and transferred it to a well ventilated cold room in my house to sit overnight. The next day, towards the afternoon, I sprayed the bottle, and lo & behold. The juice smelled exactly as I remembered the bottle from last year. Just wanted to share to see if anyone else has tried this and experienced good results; and if so, what bottles? Also just figured I’d let anyone know who has a bottle of Khadlaj Island, that doesn’t think it’s smells exactly as it should, should give this method a shot.

Just received the 1016b in pistachio and blue. The blue is pretty fantastic, the pistachio leans a little bit more mint than the crown OG. Build quality also seems to have gone down a bit since my last WD purchase about 6-8 months ago. Sharper edges, overall slightly less quality, and the lack of the quick release spring bars for the bracelet is disappointing, especially after having it on older models. It would’ve also been nice to have an OTF clasp upgrade. Even if it was a 40-50 dollar upgrade, I’d say it would be worth it. Base bring being $110 for mineral, with +$10 for sapphire, and then +40 for OTF, seems like fair pricing, maybe a bit high when you compare it to the overall cost of the watch, but I think most people would pay. Also, these colors are super tough to photograph accurately! But here are some pics.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a Casio MTP-1183Q-9ADF. It’s 20mm in gold. Picture for reference(I like the mesh, but it’s not my favorite)

Thanks in advance!
