Just took delivery of these two auction purchases. Looking forward to a taste!

I collected this earlier this year but it broke on extraction. It’s been sat on my bench for weeks so I decided to do something with it this morning. I think this is quite a good salvage job. Bit of tidying up to do still, but I’m quite chuffed with it.

Some nice ammonites from Normandy, Dorset and Wiltshire, collected by a friend and prepared in return for whisky!

Glum weather here this morning and I start a run of shitty night shifts tonight, so I thought I’d at least inject a bit of joy into breakfast. The poached eggs were an error and a bit overdone, but I’d run out of real estate in the frying pan. Giving myself 7.5/10.
