The Saanich Police Major Crime Unit is investigating a serious assault that took place in the 4000 block of Quadra Street on Friday, July 3, just before 5 p.m.

The victim remains in hospital in critical condition.

Suleyman Budak, 30, has been charged with one count of aggravated assault. He was arrested at the scene and remains in custody.
The victim and the suspect were known to each other.
Detectives investigating the case are asking to speak with anyone who witnessed the assault or who may have recorded video of the incident. Anyone with information is asked to email majorcrime@saanichpolice.ca.

Based on the study that was done on the guy at the birthday party, who spread it to a bunch of people it did spread by droplets and aerosol, also one method of infection is unknown.

As per Google aerosol and droplets would classify a virus as being airborne.

I feel like so much of the information they are giving us is contradictory and it makes me not trust what is actually being said. “ low risk to the public very hard to spread etc”
