THEME : 2026 World Cup Day I had a couple of choice here but ultimately went LPL and France for my software and decided to use the [Leresche 700](https://imgur.com/a/ZqUa0k9)

for a mainly French shave to meet the theme , the French play nice football but they play even better rugby but have yet to win a rugby world cup .

DAILY challenge: Speed shave,

My time was 04:37:54 I wasn't going to rush but did a bit it was then I regretted using the old Leresche not a bad shaver when taking your time speed or haste doesn't suit this old boy a few nicks were had .

THEME , Bilingual Day I picked the ever reliable Lider cream and aftershave from Poland , I am able to buy the Lider products directly from Poland from a website there which works very well for the pocket and also the variety is excellent if only they sold some Brion & Ralon too.

I was also able to add a bottle of Polish beer to the post shave ritual which is very good .

DAILY CHALLENGE: Wasn't sure how to approach this one then just realised I could shave in the shower which meant there was plenty of hydration not sure how many passes I did as I was constantly reapplying lather and getting any hair I had missed and in fairness I got a very good shave nice and close .

For the photocontest I chose the $fishy with the 🦈 blades .

My talk of the demise of this blade may have been somewhat hasty as it paired up with the sometimes temperamental Fatip very nicely tonight a very smooth outing indeed.

The Wholly Kaw base continues to impress this scent is ok but wouldn't be a favourite, Denim on the other hand is a favourite hence the shave's title .

A shave for the little heroes the old Made Rite brush with it's original knot and the diminutive Speick (lather monster ) stick both made a very good lather the other gem of course is the Tech what ever guise a Tech is it is giving you a good smooth shave . Finishing with Aqua Velva all good here.

Thirteenth use of this soap & still looks pretty full , slim on seven & the PGDG on its thirty-ninth use that is the numbers for the shave and it was a good close and smooth one with some good smells too.

Star of the show was definitely the Fatip smooth and effective even with the old blade as it is now . I used to quite like Arko can't say I was feeling much love for it tonight TBH ok lather slick but didn't really thicken up for me no damage done and a good result I did make a very wet lather so this may have been the reason .

*I love the scent of this soap despite the name Vetiver is the stronger note for me but the rose scent does cushion or soften the Vetiver for me , the PGDG blade is still kicking on and was a great in the BB tonight.*

This is the shave I was really looking forward to after AA the most , the Extro soap will make a good lather despite seeming quite bubbly & light at the start it really whips up very well and of course the End is Brut so the scent is 💚 fantastic. The PGDG blade & the Aviation 94 got on like a house on fire even if the blade is getting on in shaves .

*That's Austere August done Nightmare mode & RawHoggin challenges completed , I am well happy with that . 36g of the Mirto di Sardegna soap was used over the 31 shaves , I am going to keep using the blade and see how that plays out . The Assassin was a great companion and just did the job well everyday. The big boar broke in nicely and I treated it to a nice shampoo after the shave today it will have a good rest now for a while.*

*A fine Friday shave for the 28th shave of the Austere August challenge, the main challenge for me is the lack of variety in soap and aftershave shave scents , I can in no way complain about the SV soap it is top notch up there with MDC for me and I have endless praise for this PGDG blade I was very sceptical I could get anywhere near 28 shaves with one blade I think it will give me 3 more shaves to the finish line .*

*The RawHoggin challenge has been very enjoyable for me and the brush has bloomed very nicely have a good weekend.*
