First time trying Vicco Turmeric S shaving cream today, and I have to say, I’m genuinely impressed. For the price, this stuff is really good. It lathered up nicely and gave me a surprisingly comfortable shave.

The best part was the cooling effect. It felt really refreshing throughout the shave and left my skin feeling pretty good afterward.

Paired it with the Pearl L55 Open Comb and Willy's blade, and overall it was a really enjoyable shave. Definitely going to be using the Vicco cream again.

Cheap, easily available, and performs way better than I expected. Can't complain!

Is this normal for a new boar bristle brush?

Hi, I’m new to the wet shaving community and I just got this new Omega boar bristle brush from glow shines.
Is it normal for a new boar brush to “flower” like this after use or did I do something wrong? I did not put any pressure while using it. Just lathered it in a bowl by swirling it and just put it on my stubble.

Beginner: Shaving neck lines with a safety razor. BSC vs. Pearl?

Hey everyone,

I keep a beard (trimmed) but now want to start shaving neck lines , and i have decided to use a safety razor instead of a cartridge one.

  • Is this a good idea for neck shaping?
  • I prefer a heavy, solid metal build with an easy blade-changing mechanism.
  • I shave once a week.
  • I inherited a full box of my dad’s Gillette 7 O'Clock blades that I want to use up.

I'm torn between the Bombay Shaving Company (BSC) razor and a Pearl razor (like the L-55). As a total beginner who just needs clean neck lines, and some cheek area which one should I get?
also butterfly-open vs 2-piece design?

Omega Lupa vs Yaqi caramel

I've heard some say nooooo they are miles different and omega is super synthetic.

And some say yaqi is almost the same but it's pricky.

My question is there any difference in the fiber ?

Because when I see pearl chubby or when i compare it to avino I see no difference except for the ivory handle.

Hell I don't even know if omega roma comes in a plastic one or is it resin. Is it worth 2700 ?

THEME , Bilingual Day I picked the ever reliable Lider cream and aftershave from Poland , I am able to buy the Lider products directly from Poland from a website there which works very well for the pocket and also the variety is excellent if only they sold some Brion & Ralon too.

I was also able to add a bottle of Polish beer to the post shave ritual which is very good .

DAILY CHALLENGE: Wasn't sure how to approach this one then just realised I could shave in the shower which meant there was plenty of hydration not sure how many passes I did as I was constantly reapplying lather and getting any hair I had missed and in fairness I got a very good shave nice and close .

For the photocontest I chose the $fishy with the 🦈 blades .
