Beginner: Shaving neck lines with a safety razor. BSC vs. Pearl?

Hey everyone,

I keep a beard (trimmed) but now want to start shaving neck lines , and i have decided to use a safety razor instead of a cartridge one.

  • Is this a good idea for neck shaping?
  • I prefer a heavy, solid metal build with an easy blade-changing mechanism.
  • I shave once a week.
  • I inherited a full box of my dad’s Gillette 7 O'Clock blades that I want to use up.

I'm torn between the Bombay Shaving Company (BSC) razor and a Pearl razor (like the L-55). As a total beginner who just needs clean neck lines, and some cheek area which one should I get?
also butterfly-open vs 2-piece design?

Thanks!

HR asked me to accept the initial basic offer first , with compensation revision to follow. Has anyone experienced this?

Hi everyone,

I recently received an offer from Accenture India for Level 10 , senior analyst

The offer I received is:

  • Fixed: ₹8.5 LPA
  • Experience: 4 years
  • Role: Software Engineer

I currently have a counter offer with significantly better compensation.

I discussed this with the Accenture HR and requested a compensation revision. During the call, HR asked me to accept the current offer on the portal first and then reply back to the mail with expected LPA and counter offer proof. Then she mentioned that the compensation will be revisited and a revised offer will be shared once she gets the budget approval from the project.

Based on that discussion, Shall i accept the initial offer on the portal?
I do not have discussion on mail, but i do have the HR call recording.

  1. Has anyone been asked by Accenture HR to accept the initial offer first and then received a revised offer later?
  2. How long did it take to receive the revised offer?
  3. Was the compensation actually revised after accepting the initial offer and completing BGV?
  4. Should I continue with BGV/resignation while waiting for the revised offer, or wait until I receive the revised offer in writing?
  5. If you have been through this recently, what was your experience with the HR/recruiter.

Thanks!

FiiO JA11 users, does your IEM media buttons works with the phone?

I just noticed this issue. At first I thought something was wrong with my Zero2s, but it seems like the problem is with the DAC.

Initially, I assumed it was a compatibility issue with my Samsung phone. However, I tried the same DAC on a OnePlus phone and it didn't work there either. Strangely, it works perfectly fine on an iPhone.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Is this likely a faulty DAC, an Android compatibility issue, or is there something else I should check before replacing it? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Anyone taken an Azure Beta exam lately?Do we get the credential immediately like other exams?

Hey everyone,

According to the official document, exam scores take 10-14 weeks until the exam goes live

However, does the actual certification or pass/fail status show up on your Microsoft Learn profile immediately, or are you left completely in the dark until the final release? What does your dashboard look like right now while you wait?

Actually i'm in a hurry and i need AI-901 credential as a prerequisite to apply in another company...so i was thinking to give it while it is still in Beta..what shall i do??

Thanks!

Are prompt libraries actually useful long term, or do prompts become too context specific?

I found myself doing repetitive tasks using Claude and realized I was rewriting or refining similar prompts again and again.

That led me to explore prompt libraries. I’m curious how people here actually use them in practice.

Do you usually prefer:

  1. Open source/community prompt libraries
  2. Curated prompt libraries or prompt marketplaces
  3. A personal prompt library tailored to your own workflows
  4. No library just write prompts on the fly

For those who maintain a prompt library: how do you structure it so it stays reusable and does not become a messy collection of one off prompts?

Also, do you store only the prompt text, or do you also include things like context, examples, model specific notes, expected output format, and evaluation criteria?

Would love to hear what has actually worked for you.

Do you actually use prompt libraries, or just write prompts on the fly?

I found myself doing some repetitive tasks using Claude. Then I thought: why do I have to write the same prompt every time and spend time refining it again and again? That led me to learn about prompt libraries, and now I’m trying to understand how others use them in real life.

I see two main approaches:

  1. Using open source/community prompt libraries or curated prompt sites for common daily tasks
  2. Building a personal prompt library tailored to your own work, role, hobbies, and repeated use cases

For those who use AI regularly:
Do you maintain or use a prompt library? If yes, which approach do you prefer and why?

As a software developer, I’m especially curious whether a personal prompt library is actually useful long term, or whether prompts become too context specific to reuse.

Would love to hear how others manage their prompts.
