why do small dogs bark so much, is this a documented condition

I one very small dog (chihuahua mix, like 4kg soaking wet) my wife adopted 2 years ago. quick question for the experts. why do small dogs bark so much because i am LOSING my mind here. my brother in law has a great dane. 70kg of pure dog. that thing barks maybe twice a week and its always for a legit reason like a stranger at the door or food being dropped. impressive. dignified even. my dog has been barking nonstop since 5:47am today at the following confirmed threats to our household: the mailman (fair), a leaf, the OTHER leaf, my kid walking past her, a noise she heard that no human can confirm existed, her own reflection in the dishwasher, absolutely nothing, just barking into the void to remind us shes here
is this the small dog complex thing people talk about or is she just like defective. because i love her but i havent had a quiet morning coffee in 2 years. shes built like a baked potato but acts like shes guarding fort knox 24/7
vet says shes healthy, no medical issue. weve tried the training stuff, ignore the barking, but maam, have you ever tried to ignore 95 decibels coming out of a 4kg animal at 6am while you make lunches for school. its not possible
my theory is small dogs know theyre small and are constantly trying to overcompensate by being the loudest thing in any room. like a tiny CEO with something to prove. but i dont actually know if thats real or just something we say to cope
why do small dogs bark so much actually, and did yours ever calm down with age or is this just my life now until shes 15. im writing this with one earbud in because shes barking at the dryer beeping. of course she is

Every time someone mentions rubber ducky, half the replies think it's a bath toy and the other half act like it's magic hacker gear. I was reading privacy and security threads when it came up again. I watched demos, read arguments, saw people repeating things they heard elsewhere. I’m trying to figure out what part is real use and what part is internet theater.

Some people say a rubber ducky is a legit tool for authorized testing and quick payload demos but others make it sound like every office is one USB stick away from disaster. I’m wondering what is the truth buried under all this drama. Where does it actually fit for normal people? Is this something mostly for training and professional testing, or does it matter in everyday privacy discussions too?For people who know the space, is rubber ducky genuinely useful or mostly hype?
