Is this rug worth saving? (Gorevan? with moth damage along one edge)

We have an 8x11 hand-knotted rug that is in good condition - except for one edge, which has substantial moth damage. The rug is too big for the space it's in so the rightmost foot or so has been covered by a heavy sofa for a couple of years. We just moved the sofa & discovered the damage, which is confined to one edge of the rug.

Before I spend any money getting it repaired, I just want a sanity check - would it be worth getting it repaired if I'm just going to turn around and sell it, or should I try to sell it as is? Or isn't it worth anything in its present condition?

FWIW the rug was purchased in 2009 for $850, the eBay listing described it as "semi antique Heriz Serapi".
