Hey Y’all, I have a Core X9 sitting in its box’s in my Garage and wonder what I should do with it. Should I build in it? Is anyone still interested in these cases and are worth anything? Should I turn it into a behemoth of a storage PC? Possible build would be EATX AM5 with my ASUSxNoctua RTX 5080, IDK, I haven’t seen anyone build in one of these for well over 5 years! Every couple of weeks I’m buying fans sets and I’m headed straight for brown town. I’ve installed 3 140mm and I noticed they do make a bit more noise than I was expecting. Do you think this is caused by the other, more narrow fan mount(can be seen behind the Noctua fans) causing turbulence around them? Yes I’m sure it’s the Noctua fans, tested by manually turning them off in BIOS and I made sure to buy the kits that are specifically made to go side by side. Unfortunately I had to mount with screws because the anti vibration mounts were too small for the fan mounts.
And beyond that, the question asked from the dawn of PC building, should I keep the 360 AIO with new fans, or swap to a NH-D15?
