Weird 1970s shampoo brands
First…Prell. Which came in a tube that you squeeze. How many bought Prell thinking it was toothpaste?
Second…Wella Balsam. What is a wella balsam? A balsam you find in a well? Why is it the “original” balsam?
Third…”Your Hair Smells Terrific.” The shampoo makes people want to sniff your hair. Which is strange and creepy.
Fourth and finally…Body on Tap. A shampoo with beer. Yes, beer. For some odd reason, no actual beer companies ever branched out into shampoo or bath products and hence we have no craft beer shampoos.
You have to wonder if shampoo executives were doing the sniffy sniffy at discos before dreaming up these shampoo brands.
