Crimewave (Sam Raimi, 1985)
Between Evil Dead and Evil Dead 2, Raimi directed and co-wrote a slapstick caper with the Coen Brothers. Wacky, surreal, manic, narratively somewhat incoherent but the visuals and gags make it worth watching.
