I ordered a taco pizza from Casey’s and threw in a Twix and some chips to make the amount for a promo code. I got the pizza and it is a sausage and cheese pizza. I called the store and they said they were out of the taco sauce and more was thawing (refried beans and salsa), they thought it was beef they put on it, and they forgot to put the tortilla chips on top. They also forgot to put my Twix bar in the bag. So I didn’t even get the item I ordered in the first place. I figured, no problem, I’ll just go to the app and get a refund. Nope! They said the type of issue doesn’t qualify for a refund. 🤣🤣 And what’s with asking for a picture of a missing item? Should you just send a picture of yourself making a sad face? Guess I’ll call when customer support opens and spend 30 minutes going through all their prompts. Hope everyone else has a better start to your day and have a great weekend!

UPDATE: I called customer service when they opened and was offered $10.09 for a pizza that was over $15 plus tax, service fees, and tip. I asked for a supervisor and was offered the same refund. I griped a little more and she ended up refunding an acceptable amount. It wasn’t the driver’s fault. I don’t expect them to open the pizza and know what it’s supposed to look like. Casey’s pizza maker clearly knew it wasn’t even close to what I ordered but just said “Screw it! I’ll send this and maybe no one will notice!” 🙄🙄🤪🤪
