Failed FTTP upgrade
A couple of weeks ago I received a letter in the mail telling me that I was eligible for a free upgrade to FTTP, I contacted a new ISP and requested the upgrade. Turns out my unit was put under the "assurance fibre upgrade program" only one problem... I live in a unit complex (MDU). Not thinking this would be an issue, I cancelled my current ISP set up as superloop need a 30 day cancellation notice.
Nbn came out and said that they will need a specialist team and will need to organise with the body corporate.
My old ISP 30 day period has expired and internet service is now close and since I'm on the assurance fibre upgrade program, I cannot be put back on a copper service.
Other than wait for my body corporate to coordinate the FTTP upgrade, is there anything else I could do?
My new ISP recommended I get starlink or a Sim based connection. I currently have a nice router and don't want to fork out the lump sum for starlink. I am used to a 50mbps speed.
What Sim adaptor/modem/gateway could/should I buy to connect the WAN port of my router to connect my unit back to internet?
