Very Weird Double-Hit Behavior from Roland SC-880 (Sound Canvas) and Cubase 14

I'm having some odd behavior from my SC-880 when controlling it from Cubase 14. For whatever reason, I seem to be occasionally hitting something that's causing all MIDI notes to trigger twice, or at least that's what it sounds like.

Audio Example: https://soundcloud.com/zachary-pinkham/double-hit-issue-with-sc-880/s-ors0W86OqgT?si=8b686c55117245df842e684aaef1dada&utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing

I checked the track with a MIDI Monitor plugin and it's telling me each note on and off event is occurring once. I would assume whatever it is must be coming from some MIDI CC I knocked somehow, because as soon as I open up a new project file and send any MIDI to the SC-880, the issue is gone. If I go back to the project where the issue took place, the problem returns. It affects every single channel (checked all of them). Any idea what it could be?

To those of you with a Jaspers keyboard stand with a 19” rack…how does this work

I got a Jaspers 170-4-120B used (I live in the US, those tariffs and shipping are nasty) and went through a painful time putting it together (it was over-disassembled), but received some really helpful tips from the people at Jaspers. Now it’s together and synths are on it, but I am mystified as to how anything attaches to this rack. I asked the Jaspers folks a while ago and have received no reply, do any of you recognize this kind of rack that appears to have zero holes? I don’t believe any parts are missing.

EDIT: here’s a picture of the opposite side, not entirely sure how the sliding nuts fit into the equation: https://imgur.com/a/ljcjBCl
