Help needed repairing led alignement board on the Silca Matrix SLX key cutting machine
I recently acquired a Silca Matrix SLX key cutting machine.
The LED alignment board is not working (part number D910775ZR).
I am trying to repair it myself because the replacement part costs more than €100.

I identified the 78L05A voltage regulator as the component that was getting very hot, so I replaced it. However, the new regulator is also heating up significantly.
I also noticed that some of the ceramic SMD capacitors show continuity when tested with a multimeter.
Should I replace these capacitors with new ones?
If so, how can I determine the correct capacitance values for the replacements?
What would be your approach to repairing this board? How would you go about diagnosing the issue ?
