return-equipment notices for non Xfinity equipment

I am receiving repeated return-equipment notices for a modem that is not Xfinity-owned equipment.

I already contacted support by phone and visited an Xfinity store, but the issue has not been corrected.

Please open an equipment inventory correction ticket and remove this device from leased equipment records.

Please confirm:

  • the modem MAC address and serial number currently associated with my account
  • whether any unreturned equipment charges are pending
  • that this issue has been escalated and documented

This modem is customer-owned / Cox-associated equipment and should not appear as unreturned Xfinity equipment.
