Warning re Libertine the Label clothing brand
This business has zero goodwill, I ordered, as advertised, a teal velvet dress, it wasn't teal, but an electric blue, it was not velvet but viscose nylon, they claim quality fabric, this fabric was garish, thin and cheap looking. They do not explain a glittery thread running through it either. As by my consumer rights, I rejected the dress, returned it, within my consumer rights, as the dress was not as advertised, I requested a refund. This label will not refund me. I have, as by my consumer rights, legally rejected a store credit, I will never buy from this label ever and if I don't use the credit, I have legally rejected within 6 months, it expires! This is theft. I am absolutely disgusted in this label. The dress looks attractive in the adverts, the style is the same, the fabric is poor and does not represent what it is like in real life. I have checked with consumers institute and this is illegal. consumers have rights.
If this was in a store and I had the opportunity to see it, I would not have even looked at it! Online photos do not truly represent the dress.
"If an item you order online is significantly different from the description, color, or fabric advertised, it does not match its description. Under New Zealand's Consumer Guarantees Act, you have the legal right to a full refund in your original payment method—store credit is not acceptable" from CGA
I have written honest reviews on Insty, the product page on the website, and Facebook, they have blocked me and not published the review. They are not authentic, after sales service is zero and they don't believe in "it's the putting it right, that counts". They operate from a residential address in Auckland. They lack professionalism and critical thinking on top of everything else.
Be warned.
