How to reduce this med: "Risperdal"?

I was involuntarily hospitalized and prescribed Risperdal for 23 days. The immediate effects were: loss of shine in my hair, dryness in my face, severe exhaustion, sleeping excessively for 12-14 hours, increased eye pressure... everything you can imagine that's harmful, I've been experiencing. After being discharged, I wanted to stop the medication, but I didn't want to do it abruptly, just in case. So I thought about contacting my psychiatrist, and he told me to reduce the dose by 1 ml every 4 days. That is, 3 ml for 4 days, then 2 ml, then 1 ml, and then 0.5 ml. I'm in this process and I'm having a really hard time because I don't know if I'll have side effects. I've seen online that it's very fast, but in theory, since I was only on the medication for a short time, my brain hasn't had time to adjust, so there shouldn't be a problem. The thing is, I'm afraid that I might not feel vital and alive again, and I was wondering if anyone here has had good experiences reducing the medication.
