Cut Complete (7-months)

Hi all,

Recently completed my 1st ACTUAL cut (I've been losing weight inconsistently over some years but with actual research and commitment, was able achieve the following).

The starting weight in October 2025 was 177.0 lbs and the recent ones taken the other day was my final cut weight was 141.3 lbs (1.3 lbs short of my goal weight).

I was unable to complete a DEXA at the start of my journey but recent scan yeilded a result of 12.6% body fat with lean mass of 121.0 lbs.

Using ChatGPT, it provided me with a recommendation to go into maintenance for the duration of the summer at ~2750 calories (~400g carbs, ~160g protein, ~65g fat) before I go into my first planned lean bulk. I've never done this before so was hoping for some advice on if this appears to check out!

If it helps, 5'8 with final weigh in of 141.3 lbs, lifting 5x weekly (moderate intensity - need to dial in workouts bit more), walking 15-20k steps daily. Was eating between 2,000-2,400 calories throughout the cut due to higher walking activity.
