Revamping my couch TV computer

New build or upgrade? Upgrade. I had a 2013 build that went kaput, I have scrounged some parts but would like advice on RAM and GPU.

Existing parts/monitors to reuse? Please see below.

PC purpose? Gaming on living room TV. Current game is Silksong, don't play many AAA games, maybe AA at most.

Purchase country? Near Micro Center? USA, yes

Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate): Just one 4K 120Hz 65 inch TV

Budget range? (Include tax considerations): n/a

WiFi or wired connection? Wired

Size/noise constraints? microATX, quieter the better

Color/lighting preferences? No

Any other specific needs? Will be installing Bazzite, so going all AMD.

What I have:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 with stock Wraith Stealth Cooler

Motherboard: MSI PRO B550M-VC

GPU: ASRock AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT Phantom Gaming 16GB

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 1x16GB DDR4 C16

Case: Lian Li Lancool 205M microATX mid-tower

PSU: SeaSonic FOCUS 850W 80+ gold

Storage: Samsung 970 EVO NVME 1TB

My questions:

  1. I got the stick of RAM via RMA for my old RAM that failed. I probably should have pushed for dual channel but beggars can't be choosers. Will using this one stick break my build? There's RAM on ebay for $80 that has same timing but the versions are different so I'm hesitant (Mine is ver 4.32, ebay is ver 4.40). I don't have much experience selling so selling the single stick and buying a two stick kit may be difficult for me. Should I try the ebay stick or accept the loss and buy a new 2x8GB DDR4?
  2. The GPU is currently ready for pickup at Micro Center, it is refurbished for $420. Is this a good deal and good fit for my setup? My research says it will do well pushing the many pixels to the 4K TV. I feel like most of what I see right now at that price are the 9060XT 16GB cards.

Thank you!
