I just heard Satsumao is retiring, and I'm really sad about it.

For those who don't know, Satsumao is a Jonidan level rikishi with an interesting pre-bout ritual of slapping his butt. I found it to be charming, but then I heard he also has autism, and I latched onto him.

He's only 2 years older than I am, and to see someone around my age with the same mental condition I have was inspiring, and has been why I keep indulging in hyperfixations and pushing to get a job I love.

I missed seeing his last match live, but I wish him the best on his journey ahead.
