Alwyn Court, W 58th & 7th — Built 1909. Most people walk past it looking at Central Park.

Shot this on W 58th & 7th, corner of Alwyn Court / Petrossian. 1909 building, still one of the most detailed in Midtown and almost empty at 2pm.

I was waiting for the light to turn red to get the crossing blur — the two guys in white walked through at the same time by luck.

Body: Canon R6 w/ 24-70mm f4 lens
Settings: ~1/15s, f/8, ISO 100 — handheld, no tripod
Grade: kept it desaturated, left the red traffic light as the only warm pop

Happy to share the RAW crop of the dragons if anyone wants it.

Washington Square Arch, NYC — looking for honest critique

Shot this while walking around Washington Square Park. I liked the symmetry of the arch and the Empire State Building sitting in the middle of it, so I tried to keep the edit fairly dark and atmospheric.
I’m particularly interested in feedback on the composition and whether you think the foreground/road adds to the image or takes away from the arch.
What would you change?

When the mood hits right — NYC

Took this while walking around New York and really liked how the fog, Empire State Building and viewfinder came together.
Kept the edit pretty muted to match the atmosphere.
Curious what you guys think — would you have gone darker with the edit, or kept it like this?
