Fierce storm came on suddenly, didn’t last long, and afterwards the sky was deep violet, then red. No filters used.

Took a picture of the sunset during yesterday’s thunderstorm. Felt so good to get a break from the heat.

Last night's sunset from my studio window after the rainstorm. I've been photographing this same view for almost 30 years in Williamsburg, Brooklyn- watching the light, seasons, and city continually transform. It's become an ongoing series about time and change.
