Lyntr - The social media with a twist

Hi to the r/indieweb people! For the past 5-7 months I've been working on my very own weird version of Twitter, which turned out to be... very different. Now it has achievements, an Aura Verifier, badges, profile songs, scrollables, DMs and a hell lot more than I expected to ever make when I started this project as a fun little side project.

It now has over ^(30) users, and I thought it would be fun to get some more feedback from people who actually like fun and quirky stuff. Just engaging and giving some honest feedback would be enough.

It also has its own REST API, as well as a Python lib. Credit goes to NotHMRC for making PyLyntr!

Lyntr: A cool micro-blogging site with an IQ test!

Hello to the r/IndieAppCircle community.

I built this super cool app over a span of 3-4 months, one of them spent just fixing bugs! I'm supremely excited to call this LAUNCHED!

It has a whole lot of features like:

  • IQ test on sign up(Hint: Try hard enough, and you can get negative IQ haha)
  • A public forum with multiple categories and threads
  • A competitive leaderboard with multiple categories as well
  • Rugplay Enhancements like showing your top bag in coins, using a BYO API key system
  • And more coming in the future!

Right now the project is in the "just launched" state(LOL), but I hope to add more stuff over time.

I would really appreciate it if you checked my app out and provided useful bug reports or feedback. Again, it free to use for blogging, keeping a social media following, posting about your cool project(s) and WHATEVER you want, really.

Just keep it family friendly, as anything offensive is banned immediately.
