Today is Alice Krige's birthday. Krige was Nita Cochran in the episode "Murder in the Afternoon". Outside of Murder She Wrote she is more popularly recognized as the Borg Queen in Star Trek First Contact (which also featured Michael Horton who was Grady Fletcher in MSW)

Murder Digs Deep
I was watching the show Emergency! And there was one episode of that titled "Peace Pipe" that involved John Gages heritage as a native american. It made me think of the Murder She Wrote episode "Murder Digs Deep" where Jessica and Seth was part of an archeological dig. Randall Mantooth who was John Gage on Emergency played the guide who faked his native american heritage. Its kinda neat to see shows and actors connect together like this.

I was watching the episode "When Thieves fall out" when it just dawned on me that the coach in the episode was the same actor who played Baron Vladamir Harkonen in the original dune movie in the 80s!
