Continuing our celebration of all things Ticonderoga, I bring you these modern versions made in India!

In 1937, Dixon proudly declared May 10 - 15th Ticonderoga Pencil Week! In honor of that celebration, and in deference to yesterday’s Mother’s Day holiday, I present and encourage a series of posts sharing your Ticonderoga collection!

According to an advertisement in a 1940’s(?) Collier Magazine, the Joseph Dixon Crucible Co. and their flagship pencil the Ticonderoga, boldly declared May 10th - 15th Pencil Week!
