Rescued kitten won't stop biting and scratching

Kitten's age: 5 weeks old
We rescued this little baby almost 2 weeks ago and on the first and second day home I let him bite me and wrestle with my hand before realising that I need to rid him of this habit but now he won't stop biting and clawing me. I can't even sleep at night, he keeps biting my fingers and toes😭💔 I'm struggling to get him to stop doing this, I genuinely don't know how to. I can't really get myself to "punish" him (time out or a slight tap on the head) either. I bought him so many chew toys but he refuses to stop biting. Since he's still tiny, it doesn't hurt much or leave scars behind but I'm afraid he won't grow out of it plus its become really inconvenient since he won't let me work in peace or even just exist un-bitten😔🥀. Please help
