How do your lashes change over time after a lashlift ?

I absolutely loved the results right after I got a korean lash lift (the pic is right after the lashlift. Looks like I'm wearing mascara 😍). The problem is that after about a week, my lashes become a complete mess. They start going in every direction and become a nightmare to brush, almost as if they've lost their structure. It's also impossible to apply mascara, for example.
I don't know whether it's because of the person doing the lash lift and/or the products they use, or if it's just how my lashes react...
I'm really disappointed because I genuinely love the results at first and I'd like to keep getting lash lifts.
But not when, after just a week, they become such a hassle.
How is it for you? Do your lashes gradually go back to their natural shape nicely? Or is it normal to go through an awkward transition phase?
