how to remove lash lift over the next few weeks??

hi! i got my first lash lift and tint a few days ago and i really don’t like it. it’s not like terrible it just doesn’t look right and i’m wishing i never got it done especially for the price i paid…
there are a few low hanging lashes that are literally straight and then there are parts of my lashes that are so over curled and processed compared to the other. i never had super perfect lashes and they always looked like sisters rather then twins ( hence why i got the lift and tint), but now they genuinely don’t even look life cousins they are so uneven and they make my lazy eye look worse. they are so thick and dark they look like ive put 2 different types of fake lashes on.
i need to remove them over the next few weeks and get my regular lashes back. can i just rub some oil on them every night or smth??? i understand i have to wait for the eyelash cycle for new eyelashes to grow back but mine normally grow back pretty quickly. i’m more worried about how to get super bold lashes to come out of the chemical hold and how to get rid of the BLACK tint. any advice would be appreciated i’m giving chav instead of natural beauty😭

Is this a bad lash lift or am I being dramatic?

Ok help, I feel like this last lift is BAD, like really bad (not the worst no) but like it just looks so bad, am I overacting?

Over curled?

Ive done many different lash lifts over the years and have usually been happy with the results. When I looked at the salon, I didn’t notice them being as curled as they look now that I’m home. Also it’s 100 degrees in NYC today so I’m not sure if being outside for 30 mins after already messed them up? I know they usually relax some after 24 hours so I don’t want to reach out to the salon yet.

Tell me I’m overreacting 🙈

Thank you!!

lash lift aftercare?

I got my lash lifted today and was searching up aftercare but they’re all conflicting answers, so decided to clear things up here?

  1. What lash conditioner or serum should i use? Some people say oil but others say you shouldn’t apply oil onto your lashes. I live in Canada so would want something available here and that isn’t too expensive

  2. Can i curl my lashes and apply mascara? My lashes are definitely a lot more curled than usual but when i want to wear mascara I want just a bit more curl from the roots. Am i allowed to wear mascara and curl my lashes, and what are good mascara recommendations?

  3. How can i clean my lashes? Before i just cleansed my eyes using my salicylic acid cleaner but now i doubt i can do that.

Hopefully this post can also help people with the same questions i have :)

How to keep your lashes healthy?

Every time I do my lashes I end up with some irritation, watery eyes and a bit of redness at the lash line

How do your lashes change over time after a lashlift ?

I absolutely loved the results right after I got a korean lash lift (the pic is right after the lashlift. Looks like I'm wearing mascara 😍). The problem is that after about a week, my lashes become a complete mess. They start going in every direction and become a nightmare to brush, almost as if they've lost their structure. It's also impossible to apply mascara, for example.

I don't know whether it's because of the person doing the lash lift and/or the products they use, or if it's just how my lashes react...

I'm really disappointed because I genuinely love the results at first and I'd like to keep getting lash lifts.

But not when, after just a week, they become such a hassle.

How is it for you? Do your lashes gradually go back to their natural shape nicely? Or is it normal to go through an awkward transition phase?

First time lash lift/dye, my mother says she sees no difference

I do apologize for these pics, they look a bit jump scare-ey.

First pic is no eye makeup. Second is shortly after my first lash lift and dye. Was it worth it? I do see a difference, but I'm feeling unsure after my mother's comment.

Help! How to stop processing

The salon isn’t answering and I’m worried my lashes have been severely overprocessed after my appointment this morning (was about 4 hours ago).

Should I go ahead and wet/rinse them to prevent them from perming further? As time has gone on they’ve curled back on themselves even further and look “wonky” which I know is a tale tell sign of overprocessing.

Or should I go back and have them relax them?

First time. Is this too overcurled?

Hi. Just got my first Korean lash lift done a few hours ago. Lashes look fine from the front, but I’m not so sure about the side. The lash tech told me it’s typical to go for a full lift your first time, but they are touching my eyelids and sort of appear to be shooting straight up.

Can’t tell if I’m being dramatic. I realize my eyes are deep set so that’s a contributing factor.

Is there a way to relax the shape a bit? // should i go to another tech? I’m travelling tomorrow so won’t be able to revisit the original tech 😭

help! overprocessed. do i go back and get the curl relaxed?

hi! so i got a lash lift this past saturday. tried a new place as my usual girl doesn’t love doing them often so i thought why not. big mistake! right when i was done they looked perfect, but after driving home just 10 mins they curled up like crazy and looked awful!! i texted the esthetician who did them and she didn’t respond (obv she was busy) so i texted my usual esthetician who advised me to immediately wash my lashes with soap and water bc of how bad they looked! so i did. i reached out to the salon owner - who i know- and explained what happened. and she said they could have me come back in for a reset to relax the curl- as long as my lashes were healthy enough. i’m very skeptical to return to the same place as they messed it up in the first place. but i’ve spoken with 2 other trusted estheticians who recommended i go back to the same place as to not mix different brands of chemicals. i am going on vacation on friday and im extremely insecure about how my lashes look. i dont think i can enjoy my trip like this. and its a very special trip. should i get the relaxing treatment?? im scared to make it worse but im really upset about this! i’ve had 4 lash lifts previously and never had anything like this occur.

First time 🤔 was it worth it?

Before and after photos below. I was definitely hoping for a bigger wow factor. Last photo is 1 day after treatment from the side. Is it worth going again in a few weeks? Is it possible based on the photos of getting more noticeable results? I wont spend 100 each month if this is it 😬 but should i be truing a different tech for better results?

First lash lift - i don’t like it

(Reposting this to include photos)

Hi girls, just did my first lash lift, its been less than 24h and i am worried they will never go back to normal. The results so far look ok but i didn’t like the look on me so i want them to go back to normal…

Can anyone here tell me their experience, any advice, do they ever go back to normal?

Maybe i am just stressing i don’t know but i think she did them wrong 😑

Glue balm timings help

Hi :) I use the Luxe lash lift kit but hate the glue. I purchased a glue balm & it says to process longer than the regular glue.

Any tips? Did you find the balm glue needed longer? What do you look for to show the lash is processed?

Cheers!

I want a lift but am worried about it looking unnatural

I have hooded eyes and long lashes and am worried I will look overly surprised and scared lol. I want a tint for sure but wanted some opinions on what lift might work if it is recommended I've heard Korean lift has left of a c shaped curly curl

Is there a point getting a lash lift if wearing lash clusters

Ok so the question is basically the title. I have super short lashes and have started using lash growth serum, but I am considering a Korean lash lift and tint just to enhance my natural lashes while they are growing out so I look better without makeup and my lashes will look extra long with mascara. However I recently got gifted some lush clusters which I wanna try- these are Lola beauty and sit under ur lashes like on the lash line. My plan is to start using these alongside mascara as part of my makeup routine and take of before bed (would rather not sleep in then do lashes get a break). If I do this is there still a point of getting a lash lift, yes it will make me look better without makeup, but would it have an effect on how good the clusters look? Will they look extra long and curled or will it make no difference. Just don’t wanna waste my money just to look a bit better the odd day u don’t wear makeup if the lift can’t even be noticed most days when I have clusters on.

So happy with my Korean lashlift as someone with VERY stubborn lashes!!

I am a half Indian half white woman with stubborn lashes. Curling them manually never lasted, they would stick out in different directions, and humidity instantly kills them.

I got my first Korean lash lift hoping this would finally curl them, and am so satisfied. This is me one day post lift. I wanted to share my results because there wasn’t much discourse online about effectiveness for south Asian women or biracial women and wanted to share my experience!!

For reference, she used a more c shaped rod (more outward curl, then upward curl instead of a more dramatic lift) to make grow out less obvious. I think this is good because my lashes are already long but my grow out would be obvious with a more dramatic curl.

Does keratin actually do anything?

I have just started getting lash lifts and I love it, I have straight brittle lashes that finally look like they exist. I want to get them more regularly, is paying for the keratin worth it? I do know my lashes are more thin than the average person.

question

ive been wanting to do a lashlift for ages and ive read they last about 4 weeks depending on how much contact with water etc but as a muslim i have to wash my face, including eyes and lashes, 5 times a day (sometimes less depending on when i pee but thats besides the point). would it still be a good idea to get dons?
