Engage Fight Wear Australia

Hey guys,

I just want to share my experience with Engage Australia (Alex and Izzy’s fight gear company) I have recently bought a Rashguard and 2-1 Hybrid Shorts during their 2 day sale.

I must admit it has to be one of the worst customer service I have received, their 4-11 Working Day delivery apparently only starts when they pass the parcel to their Post, which is the Australia Post. Anyways, my local post office which is located in Malaysia, lost my parcel, which I understand is their fault entirely and I had many calls with them and even complained about them to a customer body in Malaysia.

However, Engage was not helpful at all, I have forwarded all the emails I received from my local post saying they lost the parcel; but Engage said to wait they might deliver it; which was frustrating but I did per their instructions and their standard delivery conditions. I had to wait until May 15th, where I placed the order in 15th April.

Now about their customer service, I had to bomb email them to provide me with updates and ask them for solutions, and considering we are in the same time zone, they reply once a week, as if there is 1 person working for the whole business. Well, today I received a very frustrating email - saying they will refund me which is standard, but I did not receive ANY apologies or any compensation for the whole problem; which when I emailed saying I didn’t even receive any apologies for the wait; then they apologise and provide me with a 15% discount code.

NOW, I would like you guys to know I can get the 15% from their website when I sign up, so they are offering me something that already exists and I can get it MYSELF. Additionally, the discount doesn’t even equal to what I bought, since I bought the items on sale, and the sale has ended; there was zero attempts to find any solutions to keep the customer (me) and I have explicitly told them this is my first time ordering so now they definitely lost a customer. BUT, this shows the customer service is TERRIBLE, and I just don’t want anyone to go through this, PLEASE don’t buy from them, save your frustrations, it’s not worth it. I was talking to some person named “Iza” and she must be terrible at her job.

I would have at least expected for them to re-send me the items with a faster shipping method as compensation, but no they don’t want to acknowledge the blame, since they get their money back from their Post Office due to insurance but I had to lose a month of me waiting and also my frustrations and time.

PLEASE DON’T ORDER FROM THEM, find other brands, that will respect their customers and your time - as a replacement I had to order Aesthetic which delivered in 2 days and even told me I can exchange if I wanted.
