My first bag had me sweatin!

My cousin requested a custom diaper bag similar to Minicoton’s Handle Bag for interchangeable use as a shoulder tote and a stroller bag. I learned how to sew as a kid from my mom who’s now passed, so recently picked it back up as a way to remember her. Never sewn a bag before, but I figured how hard could it be 🤷🏻‍♀️

LOL READERS IT WAS HARD

I watched multiple YouTube tutorial videos on tote bag with various pockets in order to figure out the order of operations on construction. Worked with fusible foam for the first time which was fun. I did start with a mock up cuz I know myself enough that my first iteration is always terrible but I learn what NOT to do. But then I manically ditched the mockup on the final homestretch and welp all that matters is that it’s done! 😅

PS now my sis wants the mock up, but I’m lacking in enthusiasm to finish it…

Boss says it’s a gopher snake, but wanted a confirmation. Some laborers caught it and relocated the thicc noodle back to the nearby creek
