Vision change after a 4 day trip
I’m a teen. I went out on a 4 day long trip to the mountains during the summer and while I was there I didn’t notice my vision even once. Not one thing caught my eye as being harder to see then usual or whatever. For reference, I’m -0.75 in my left and -0.50 in my right and I didnt use my glasses at all during the trip. The best I can recall is using them during one bus ride and then usuing them for like 10 minutes to see the city lights at night more clearly to take in the view. Anyways, the day after I arrived home I got food poisoning and it hurt like hell so I started taking medicine. 2nd day I still took medicine and got tested and turns out I had a liver and urinary tract infection aswell. I took a new medicine dosage after that which I continued for day 3 and day 4. By day 5 I was fine. And now I’ve finished my dose.
But during day 3 I noticed my vision seemed a bit worse then usual? This is scaring me since my prescription I know is already pretty low and any change feels really noticeable. Why is it that my vision seems worse to me? Or is worse? Is it because of the medicine? If so, will my eyesight clear up? Was it because I was in the sun and spending lots of time outdoors during the trip and now that I’m back home in my room it feels harder for my eyes to adjust?
