Anyone know where I can get some nice, simple straps? All I want is a strap with a double d ring on the end so I can, you know, strap stuff. Like the one pictured which is from an Australian site, but easily available in the UK instead.

I don't want to be paying 40 quid for some over engineered rokstraps, I don't want the krappy kriega things with pointless hooks on that just fall out. I don't care if it's not "moto" branded. No velcro, no proprietary hooks or buckles or systems. Just double d rings like helmets have.

Why is this so hard to find?!

Alright chaps. Fitting some new bits to my little vstrom 800 (metal protection parts for radiator, brake master cylinder etc) which meant removing some plastics. This little doohickey fell out the yellow piece of fairing at the front, anyone recognise it? 😅

No idea where it came from or of its even off this bike! It looks rather rusty for a 3 year old 6k mile bike!

Also, the left side rad mount has a rubber flap thing that extends down past the frame, there's a mount for one the other side but no flap. Should there be? Still under warranty so I'll make em give me a new one if so!

Recently bought an 800de on 4k miles, pristine condition. It has a black widow end can installed.

After about 6 weeks of ownership I have noticed the can has been hitting the swing arm and taken all the paint off it.

Has anyone else got this same exhaust and experienced issues? All I can think to do is move the clamp thing so that both parts are on the outside of the bracket to move it out a bit.

I can only think it was installed just before selling it for some reason. It came with the stock can, which hasn't a mark on it so it's not like it's been done after dropping it or something.
