Conflicted: BCA (My Interest) vs. BSc Nursing (Mamu promised a job, but no interest) – Need Advice!

Hey everyone,

I’m currently facing a massive dilemma regarding my college choice and could really use some honest advice.

My mamu (uncle) works at Tibbu College and is heavily pushing me to pursue BSc Nursing. Because of his connections, he assures me that he can easily secure a job for me right after graduation. The stability sounds nice, but the problem is I have absolutely zero interest in the nursing/medical field.

On the other hand, I am genuinely interested in technology and want to pursue a BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications). My goal is to get into software development and tech.

I’m torn. Should I play it safe and go into Nursing just for the guaranteed job security, even if I hate the field? Or should I follow my interest and do a BCA, work hard on my coding skills, and try to build a career in tech?

How is the job market looking for BCA graduates right now, and is it risky to reject a guaranteed placement in nursing?
