Hit a bump in the road and power to the engine was lost every electrical thing works but the power to the engine, i can crank it but it doesn’t turn over. No spark in the distributor
Details, I was doing 40 mph and I hit a minor bump in the road and my car stopped producing speed, it went limp and I slowly cruised to 0 all the electric works it just doesn’t want to turn over, I’ve tried to see if I was getting spark from the distributor and I did not. I’m being told one of the wires dislodged and is making it not want to turn over.
Any thoughts would help apprec
Bought it couple days age it’s been running fine I’m still trying to get into driving it and noticing the dings and dats of the car, things I’m concerned on is the hesitating idle. It’s not rough or dragging it’s more of a split second ever so often when stopped of parked. Other is the loud vibration when I’m going on and off the gas slowly. It’s not dramatic vibrations it’s more of a giant electric toothbrush inside the car type of vibration. I am not sure if either are connected and what the causes are. Any answers or suggestions would help
