Posting an update + experience with Plan B One-Step

Hey there!

I recently made a post about how my boyfriend had to rush to get Plan B for me the day before my ovulation was to start due to the condom breaking. When that happened I was able to take it but it was 11:30 p.m. ( May 5th ) and my ovulation was the next day ( May 6th ). The very next day, I did have the symptoms you get when taking it but I have no idea if the gut pain I was having came from that or food poisoning. I didn't have the typical pains I get when ovulating until later that evening but it didn't last hours like it usually does.

Fast forward to today and I made sure to take a pregnancy test since my boyfriend got me this one that was an up to 6 days before missed period type of test. The results were negative, yay!
I still will take the other test come the 20th when my period is due. I live in TX so I don't want to risk getting pregnant and I've had Nexplanon, before I aged out of being a dependent years ago ( I was about 20 or so ). I am planning on getting it again to avoid a major scare and so that we have ANOTHER back up method.

I will update you all on the 20th of this month with the next results.

Hello, this is the first time I have taken Plan B One-Step.

( Some context )
My bf and I haven't seen each other for about two months, so of course, we were going at it and the condom broke. Right after it happened he hurried to get the pill ordered though Uber and it didn't take to long to get here. I took it around 11:39 p.m. The thing is that it was a high chance of getting pregnant ( I use the My Calendar app to track everything ) but my ovulation wasn't to start until the next day, which when that happens, the pains kick off way, way later in the evening. Since I've taken the pill ( on the 5th ) there's been no discharge and no pain until this evening but I am dealing with food poisoning so idk what is what rn. I have PCOS and know about the whole thing about you having a chance at getting pregnant is low but still, I 've been using condoms and I've had a scare years ago when I was younger and nothing happened but that was back in high school. I don't know if I'll be as lucky now and it deeply worries me. I am trying my best not to freak out but I live in Texas so...

If anyone can provide answers or share their own experiences, I'd be grateful.

F.Y.I
I have a box with two pregnancy test at the ready. My period isn't due until the 20th and sometimes it either a few days early or late and sometimes on time. I am VERY heavy bleeder.
