First time

Hi everyone! Had sex today and I’m a pretty anxious person so am wondering if I should take a plan b or not. I’m not on any kind of birth control, we used a condom and it didn’t break. I’m supposed to get my period on July 14th so I’m guessing I’m about to start ovulating. Should I take plan b?

Condom slipped I think I’m freaking out

Basically my boyfriend and I just had sex. He pulled out before he came but when we saw the condom it was on and had semen in the end however there was some cum on the shaft of his penis where it looked like the cum came out of the opening of the condom. I freaked out and immediately took a plan b idk I use condoms all the time and have never had this happened please help.

diarrhea after taking plan b, is it still effective?

for context, i didn’t have PIV sex, but my bf and i were dry humping naked and he tried to put it in but we decided not to. i’m just worried about the pre-cum.

i’ve been having diarrhea since last night (mushy poop), and around an hour after I took the pill (11:30am) I had diarrhea again. Then again at 2pm and then 4pm.

Would the pill still be effective? Really worried.

additional info: according to my health app i’m supposed to have my period sometime this week

No period yet, sm1 help✌️

Hi! Im 16F and i made the stupid mistake to go ahead and have intercourse w my boyfriend may 28. The condom broke but he didnt ejaculate, but i was still so worried about precum. My last period cycle was may 22-26. I instantly took a plan B May 28 and had withdrawal bleeding around June 3. It is currently July 4th and ive had the WORST nausea in my life. Lots of cramping, anxiety, fatigue, headaches, nausea, and brain fog. Ive also experienced panic attacks because of my anxiety of possibly being pregnant. Im kinda scared because ive been so nauseous recently and all the symptoms point to early pregnancy. But ive read tons of reddit threads that say this pill is supposed to mimic the symptoms of pregnancy for some reason. I havent gotten my period yet but ive had lots of cramping in my lower abdomen. I doubt that im pregnant because it was just precum, i wasnt ovulating, and i took a plan B but the chances are never zero. This pill has honestly made me feel terrible for a whole month and it has made me realize i am so fine without having sex until im 30. Can someone share their own experiences with plan B to reassure me?😅 Currently as i type this i have a terrible headache and cramps in my lower abdomen and thighs. Someone hellllpp!!!

advice / help / reassurance needed!!!

hi guys! i my period june 13-17, and my whole cycle typically lasts 28-30 days. my bf and i made the stupid choice to have unprotected sex on june 25, but it was only a few seconds and we are sure that he didn't finish / have precum (but obv it's not guaranteed). i took a plan b the day after (jun 26), and about a week after that (june 30-july 2) i've been cramping and spotting with a light pink and brown color. i just would like a second opinion as to whether or not it was implantation spotting / how likely i would get pregnant from that, or if it was ovulation spotting/bleeding.

Side effects ?

Took plan b 12 hours after anal and rubbing only. As safe measure. Fast forward 3 days later I have started bleeding. By day 4 after intake the blood looks like my period both in color and flow. My expected period is in 10 days, so it is too early for it to be a true period? And I have an upset stomach since this morning. I felt dizzy and then very tired and I threw up once, i’m getting a bit stressed with all of this happening to my body.

Is this a normal side effect? Please someone?

my plan b experience - side effects

On May 26th I got black out drunk and left the club with some guy, and by the time I became conscious we were in some random alley (?) having sex (I dont remember). The whole situation was kind of fucked

I don’t remember if he used a condom, and I never saw him again, so I took a plan b at 62 hours post intercourse (there were circumstances preventing me from getting it sooner)

Everything was fine when I took jt, and I actually got my period 2 days later. My period was incredibly heavy and lasted 11 days (usually my period is 6 days).

I thought everything was normal again, until I got a super bad rash on my vagina that was very painful. I went and got tested for sti/std and came back negative thankfully. I got topical cream for the rash, which helped after a few days, but then got a yeast infection! This was the first yeast infection I’ve ever had IN MY LIFE. I got some medication for THAT, and THEN I thought things were back to normal but they were not.

june 26th my period was supposed to come again, but it never did. And then, my vulva started to sting slightly for a few days. I spent days and days waiting for my period to come (scared to death that I was pregnant) and then on July 1 got ANOTHER YEAST INFECTION.

Today is July 3, and thankfully I just got my period, but my hormones are fucked up and my ph is unbalanced, I’m trying to get things back to normal but I feel like the plan b just messed everything up…

Lesson learned never putting myself in that situation again, and also never taking a plan b 🫰 unless absolutely necessary

Bleeding or Period

Context: On June 16th, I took a Plan B pill a couple days after non PIV sex (I now know after frequenting this Reddit that it was unnecessary to take the pill, I’ve learned). As of the day of the incident, I had just ended my period a couple days prior. About less than a week later, I experience withdrawal bleeding and had brown discharge and very minimal dark blood for no more than 2-3 days.

My period tracker, which is always pretty spot on, expects for my period to start July 4th. Today (July 3rd) I noticed a bit of brown stain in my underwear (don’t know if it was blood or discharge), and there was brown blood when I wiped. It looked as if I was on the last day of my period. It went away after that.

Because I already experienced withdrawal bleeding about a week and a half ago, can I assume that this is my period starting? I don’t think I have to worry about pregnancy or implantation bleeding or anything, but I’m just wondering if I can calm down finally and know that I have my period. Thanks, this Reddit has been very informative and helpful to me. :)

Awful Plan B experience- disassociation

So I took Plan B the 24th May after a condom got stuck in me when my partner pulled out. I was already super stressed and anxious because I ended up really regretting sleeping with this person at the time. The day after I was anxious that I convinced myself I was pregnant and was ovulating so I went to get Plan B the following morning. That night or the day after I started the withdrawal bleeding which at the time I believed was my period, it only lasted a few days however. It wasn’t until afew weeks later that I began to feel severe nausea that effected my daily, I struggled to eat and began to get stomach cramps and a lot of pain, as well as severe anxiety and mood swings. Over the next few weeks I began to recover but the nausea was still super bad. I began to get super anxious because my period was very late at this point. I took multiple pregnancy tests and tried to calm down but the nausea and constant anxiety waiting for my period began to really mess with me. Eventually after getting awful cramps and illness, I got my period on the 21st of June so it was technically 20 days late. It wasn’t much worse than my normal period but was definitely different with more clots, less predictable ect. I thought with my period coming this would calm my symptoms down as my stress was lowered knowing I wasn’t pregnant, I thought my hormones would start to reset. However now a few weeks later I somehow feel even worse. I’ve been feeling super out of it and disassociated which isn’t something I’ve ever felt in my life, I’m struggling to do basic tasks because of the brain fog I have, I can’t socialise and I’m still struggling with daily naseau and anxiety. I have a history of depression as well and my inability to operate and feel normal is triggering that as well. Im not sure if I’m just highly sensitive to Plan B and hormones but this is making me scared to try birth control, I’d honestly rather never have sex again than live like this, I can’t function with this level of dissociation and depersonalisation. I also don’t understand why no doctors/pharmicists seem to care about the hormonal effects of the pill and pretending side effects only last 2-3 days which is complete lies. Wondering if anyone else has had this experience, especially with the disassociation because I’m just trying to wait it out and pray it goes away. I just want to feel normal again I feel like taking the pill has ruined my life. Psychically and mentally I am a wreck.
This is less important but I’m also back with the person that caused me to take the Plan B and at the time I didn’t tell him, but now it’s had such an effect on me I feel like I should because it explains why I’ve been so unwell and hormonally messed up for the past month. I’m nervous he will be mad that I didn’t tell him at the time, and will consider it a betrayal of trust.

I have no other symptoms, i feel totally notmal except for the fact that the bleeding is still here. Its like super tiny bloodclots and its not crazy heavy im just wondering if these are normal symptoms. Im anxious and scared and confused.

I want to delay my period with plan b

I know this isn’t that smart but I do not want my period on vacation. I’m going to Hawaii from July 28th to August 4th. I’m supposed to get my period between august 2-4. Does anyone know when I should take the plan b to try and make sure I don’t get it while on my trip? I never get to vacation I DONT WANT TO BE BLEEDING/CRAMPING AT ALL IN HAWAII.
I just started my period today also so it was a reminder how much I don’t want to deal with this then.

Got my period two weeks early? Will I get it again?

So I’ve been reading about the side effects and “withdrawal bleeding” but this is an actual period I think. Like it’s bright red and heavy like usual (using the size ultra tampon) with the normal clots and stuff. Does this mean I won’t get my period for the rest of the month or will I bleed again? This sucks so bad. I hate bleeding. It’s so icky.

unprotected+creampie

my bf and i had unprotected intercourse and pinutok nya sa loob instead of pulling out because he thought i was already good to go since i started taking pills. the pills were inconsistent and wala pang isang month, aside from that we had protected intercourse last june 11 and 16 and i am not 5 days delayed (idk if its because of stress or the pills i started taking). i took a pregnancy test 2 days ago and it came out negative.

im aware of the yuzpe method but im not quite sure how to do it properly, i was hoping i could get advice here on what to do to ensure i wont get pregnant. maybe you guys have better methods or advice on what to do rn huhu, i have a major exam next monday and im afraid doing the yuzpe method will destroy my focus. please give me ideas on what to do or instruct me on what i can do, everything will be taken with an open heart n mind. im more than desperate, im also wondering if me getting my period in 1-2 days means im 100% pregnancy scare free.

Is this normal after taking a Plan B?

I took Plan B on June 23rd and I'm starting to have spotting and cramping. My period isn't supposed to start for 12 days. I've taken Plan B before and this hasn't happened.

3 Creampies, need advice :)

My boyfriend (21M) and I (20F) have had sex regularly and have always used protection. My boyfriend left out of town today for a whole month so as a going away gift I let him creampie me the last 3 days leading up to him leaving. I know it’s extremely irresponsible but I’m a bit worried. He creampied me on 3 separate days, each day I’ve had a Plan B directly after being creampied, how are my chances of pregnancy? I have an extremely irregular period and am currently experiencing stomach pains (nothing too crazy) should I be worried? This isn’t a regular thing for us so it’s not a consistent form of birth control.

i’m nervous…

impulsivity happened last night and now it’s ~22 hrs later since then. im nervous about the bad side effects, potential acne flare and months of hormonal disrupt. (i know im thinking of the worse case of taking the pill…) it makes me not want to take the plan B… my bf is annoyed that i still cant make a decision and still stuck on this. im on day 34. my app predicted my period would start today but tbh, the predications been off for the past 2-3 months bc my previous cycles been kinda irregular? previous cycles have been days 29, day 38, day 41, day 33… my cycle length used to be more consistent ranging around 32-35 days? is it too late for me to take it??😟 is it hard to tell for my chances of being pregnant based on my cycle? can i get a pep talk or reassurance please. my bf is clueless so he cannot provide one and so am i. thank you!

UPDATE: period after day 37

Condom broke during sex, took plan B 11 hours later

Hi All, me and my girlfriend had sex 30th june so yesterday, and this morning i bought her Plan B (the pharmacist called her and gave me Escapelle). We were having sex at 9:30 pm when i came out and started madturbating with the plastic on when i finished i noticed it was broken as i got it on my finger. It was a pretty big tear on tje right side however i didnt feel it and checked it mid way. She was on her last day on period with a light flow. Flo predicts her period is coming on July 26, with ovulation between 5-11 July. She took the pill at 8:30 am today and has no symptoms currently. She is 73kg and around 156cm. Did it work? And do I have to worry? Cus i have been scrolling this feed all day trying to find a accurate answer?:(
