HELP! I want to build a nice factory. (NOT MINE BUILD)

I'm creative about decorations, but I do not know how to combine it with the production line and make it looks everything is integrated in one giant factory like the example. Do you guys put the machines first or what?

I want to know how do you guys plan those beatiful giant factories... where do you start?
