Imagine Rick Prime’s Beth’s perspective. Your mom dies for unknown reasons, your dad leaves, you grow up, marry Jerry and have kids. Then your dad suddenly comes back. You live with him for a while, he hangs out and goes on adventures with your son, and then the apocalypse happens—and your dad disappears again with your son. You spend years surviving and eating monsters, until your original son returns with a copy of Summer and a bunch of versions of your dad—and one of them freezes you to death.
