Where to find meals? (seeking advice)

I (27F) recently had emergency surgery for a perforated ulcer, and I kinda feel lost. I feel like it reset what I can tolerate and I have to go into a "soft" diet after being little over a year post op rny. It feels confusing because I can still tolerate the foods I had to ease into eating, but I don't want to delay my healing by just eating normally again.
So many meals that show up are so... bland and depressing. it makes it really hard to want to eat, let alone try to reach my protein goal. I messaged my surgeon since the nurse line doesn't have much info on my situation but I'm just kind of down.

vent post; perforated ulcer

I (27F) had my bypass April 18th 2025, and with this past friday, i experienced the worst pain of my life. i thought it was the extreme nausea since i recently started prozac but it would not go away.
my sister takes me to the ER and they tell me that it can be a ulcer or an infection. which it was both, they told me a lot of puss and blood was sitting where it wasn’t supposed to with my intestines.
i just got discharged a couple of hours ago, and i have to take so many medications for the infection and making sure my drain hole closes up.
it was just very scary, im glad i went when i did since i was waiting for it to pass for like two hours prior to going to the ER.
i wonder if my back pain was related to that. it was going on for a week or so, and that was one of the symptoms. its so hard to gauge out pain from your stomach or just the rapid weight loss and your body is trying to keep up with activity.

so if you feel off, please go to your doctor. it can just happen abruptly.
