Sos help a girl out

Hello lovely people, I’m sure there’s been a lot of chatter on here of which iPad is best and all that but I am the most indecisive person when it comes to making big purchases like this. For background, I’m entering medical school in the Fall and my 10.5 inch ipad that carried me through undergrad and graduate school since 2019 has finally given out on me.

I’ve been looking into buying a new ipad. I was gifted an MacBook Air since my computer is also on its last breath. It sounds ridiculous but I need an ipad for note taking and studying. I’ve been eyeing the 13 inch M4 iPad Air — i like the idea of a bigger screen for split screen and such (it was a feature I liked for my old ipad but I found the space was too small). I’m torn between storage. Do you recommend the 128 GB or 256 GB for an extra hundred something? This is probably a no duh answer but it’s a huge investment and financial decision that I’m doing alone. Any advice or feedback is appreciated! Thank you!!

wtf at this point

For context, I’ve had braces since August 2024. I’ve had it all, spacers, bands, IPR, powerchains, yada yada. I was supposed to get them off in March but was bothered by a gap forming on this specific side of my mouth. I told my ortho and we made adjustments but with this most recent adjustment, this damn gap is back. I’m nearing the end of treatment and I’m already months over when I should’ve been done. Sometimes it’s the shape of my tooth but damn! Any thoughts? Has this happened to anyone before? Thanks!

SOS BEFORE I SEE MY ORTHO TOMORROW

Hi guys! I see my ortho tomorrow for one of my last adjustments before removal. I think I’m super hyper aware to imperfections so I wanted to see if anyone else experienced this. I’ve been in braces since August 2024, and I’m nearing the end of my treatment. As of right now, I’m really happy with how my teeth have turned out and my bite feels comfortable! I’ve accepted my midline won’t be perfect (since that’s more of a jaw issue) but noticed that my left side has some issues. I have a teeny tiny gap that’s formed since my ortho pulled my teeth forward which is smaller compared to what it was before. But now, I’m noticing that one of my lower teeth is slightly pointed inwards. I’m wondering if my band placement contributed to the inward turn as well. Again, not a big deal but part of me is like ah man, am I gonna have to get IPR done or spacers and will that be worth extending my treatment. These are things I’ll definitely ask my ortho tomorrow but I’m wondering what you guys think, thanks!

Should I be worried?

I’m nearing the end of treatment coming this July, basically have had these braces on since July 2024. I’m noticing that this freaking gap keeps reappearing on the left side of my mouth. I had this issue back in April and he put powerchains and then ANOTHER gap formed once he took them off. He said for my May adjustment, we’re doing elastics to pull the teeth forward and a small gap is meant to form. If things look good, he said we’d take them off in July but should I make sure that at my June adjustment, he closes this freaking gap with powerchains + elastics? I know the size of my tooth is also a factor but omfg I want these gaps all closed!

My midline is gonna be off because it’s a jaw issue and I don’t want surgery. Has this happened to anyone else? Will this gap ever close 💀???

I got braces in August of 2024 and am nearing the end of treatment. We delayed my removal that was initially scheduled for April because a big gap formed on my left side. We did the power chains but now I have another tiny gap that’s formed in the tooth next to it. I feel so deflated right now because it seems every time the end is near, another thing comes up. Has anyone experienced this as well? If so, did the gaps ever close or did you get something like composite done?

I feel like the power chains should’ve closed the gaps but I understand that I had so much spacing going on (initially I had gaps in my two front teeth) so it would take longer. My midline is also off but that’s more so a jaw issue so I’m not too bothered. AH, is there anything I should bring up at my upcoming appointment? I want all these damn gaps GONEEEEEEE
