I’ve been dealing with internal hemorrhoids lately, but I noticed something new today. After passing gas, I saw some light pink discharge/mucus on the toilet paper.
I know hemorrhoids can cause bright red blood during a bowel movement, but is it normal for them to cause this kind of pinkish discharge specifically with gas? Has anyone else experienced this, or should I be looking into other possibilities?

Can internal hemorrhoids bleed for 6 months? It started off intermittent but now it's almost every day (maroon jelly/clots on the stool, but clean wipes). My doctor did blood work and everything was normal. Has anyone else had daily bleeding last this long?
