Context: I need to remove this bolt or pin to free up the assembly inside this Shimano XT lever.
Issue: The "pin" is threaded and can screw in and out but its not meant to come out as the red arrow shows, its retained by a "rivet" or something. Long shot I know, but has anyone removed one of these successfully?

Replacing the levers on DeoreXT brakes is ridiculous. Trying to line everything up AND ensure the spring stays in the correct place is way more tricky that ya might think! If anyone is doing this, I eventually solved the problem by cutting and inserting a dowl in the above dimensions. Hope it helps and good luck!
Between the wheels??????? Given they all send me silly, I would choose this one above all the other magic.
Been trying to perfect it on Guitar for a few months now. Can get the structure but some of the little riffs etc are tricky at best 😄 What do you think????
