I purchased a set of collectibles for $300 and these collectibles were shipped in their own individual protective case(s). Once they arrived, I was extremely excited to see them out of their protective case (not the manufacturer’s case) and when I opened the first one, it felt like I was kicked on the face with a 300 lbs bag of mothballs. Pungent and nauseating. I decided to open all 6 of them and while doing so, my little one walked in. Within seconds of being inside, she began to complain about her eyes burning and the room smelling like “rotted medicine “. She’s 7 and I have no idea what rotted medicine is 😂. Anyway, I messaged the seller immediately with my concerns and I also mentioned that I left the protective cases soaking in warm water to try and remove the smell. But, if after airing out the items for a couple of days and soaking the cases, the smell doesn’t disappear, I would be retuning them. Seller hasn’t responded as of yet. Final Note: the set of collectibles I purchased is extremely difficult to find in this condition so I’m wondering what I should do, keep with the smell, return or is there a 3rd choice ? Thanks
