Happy 4th from my neighbors
My neighbors took it upon themselves to set up shop in my side yard, then light off probably 100+ fireworks. They didn't ask for my permission, of course. For a solid hour they shot them off from/into my yard and over my house.
This morning I went outside and there was fireworks trash everywhere, including on my car, on the roof of my house and in every area of my yard. I picked up a small bag full and the neighbor and his grandson came outside and said they'd get it. I went inside, but they left a ton of stuff still laying everywhere. It took me at least an hour or two to pick up what I could find. This includes dozens of bottle rocket sticks, hundreds of shreds of cardboard, pieces of sharp plastic, and other miscellaneous pieces.
Not to mention my kids were trying to sleep, which is just a lost battle on the 4th. It sure didn't help having fireworks go off right outside their windows and over their roof. Sayonara to the worst holiday, I won't be looking forward to next year 😂
