Unfortunately my long distance gf decided to end things this morning. I’m absolutely devastated, as I thought she would be the person I would spend the rest of my life with. She is unsure about her future and how long she will continue to live on the other side of the world, and needs some time to figure things out for herself. As much as this breaks my heart, I want nothing but for her to be happy.

I’ve always really enjoyed coming to this community, for advice or just to read people’s stories. Although my long distance journey has sadly ended, I urge others not to give up, and follow your heart! Farewell :)

I’ve just finished another rewatch, and I’m a bit confused about the lore behind Gary Blauman. I’m sure Barney said he died after he (tried) to piss all over the conference table after he was fired? Then he shows up in the final season and each of the gang seems to have a separate relationship with him?!

Is there any other characters/moments people that think of similar to this?? Just got me thinking that’s all :)

I’ve been in a long distance relationship since October (London to Australia) and it’s really tough. But the thing I’ve found is that it’s not necessarily being apart from your s/o that’s the hardest part, it’s how it magnifies all your insecurities. I’ve learnt more about myself in the last few months than I think have ever before. Whether that be fear of abandonment, or whether you truely trust the other person all gets pulled under the microscope.

Separately, everyone try and stay positive! The beauty of these channels is that we can stick together and share experiences, as everyone is going through a similar tough time. I have less than six months to go until my distance is closed, and it would be great to hear everyone encouraging each other, and believing that you will make it through this 🫶😊
